While not all utopias are religious however, they usually include motifs from paradise and are intended to embody certain characteristics of paradise under actual conditions.

There are many definitions for the word “paradise however, the majority of them describe a state of extreme beauty or enjoyment. It can also be an ideal location for a certain activity or hobby. For instance golfers’ paradise or a hummingbird’s paradise. In the context of religion, it may refer to heaven, which is the home of the righteous after death.

A place to play

Totopia is a new addition to the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County it’s opening this week in their west Santa Rosa campus. It is a side-room of the popular Science and Imagination Gallery, designed for infants and children up to 35″. The exhibit space has a storybook cabin where you can enjoy a cup of tea with bears, a lillypad water play area, and the ball wall. There is also the flower pit, a ball wall and the grotte.

To gain access to Totopia, players need to complete the quest chain: “A Great Discovery” and the “Totopia tutor for a day” (five times daily, each time), “Her Name” followed by “The Case of the Lost Totopia“. The Totopia Island Token is then obtained.
